Ingredients:
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- 1 sugar cube or 1/4 oz simple syrup
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- Absinthe rinse
- Lemon peel
Instructions:
- Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe; discard excess.
- Stir rye, sugar, and bitters with ice.
- Strain into the rinsed glass.
- Express lemon oils; no ice.
